This accessory is particularly interesting on the delivery table, to mobilize the pelvis in the side position, to support the leg in internal rotation of the femur during expulsion.
It can be used for training and even as a stimulation tool with babies.

It can be used to sit astride and gives mobility and good proprioception of the perineum.

For breastfeeding, it is placed on the knees.

For the relaxation of the perineum, a work of drainage and abdominals without risks it allows the inverted postures mobile but stable (the pelvis on the ball, thighs on the belly)
In the back, against the wall, it allows a well supported rocking.
