HOW IT WORKS
The Chinese formulas of Nature's Sunshine are based on 5000 years of Chinese tradition in herbal medicine. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which includes the use of herbal medicine, is still the main treatment method across Asia even today. In TCM it is believed that this formula can unblock stagnant chi. AD-C is believed to be a formula that regulates chi. It is perceived as the vital energy of the body, considered essential for all life. Chi travels through the body along pathways called meridians. The goal in TCM, according to ancient Chinese philosophy, is to allow chi to flow unobstructed in order to maintain optimal health. Balanced chi, according to Chinese philosophy, also encourages an overall feeling of well-being. The Chinese call this formula jie yu, which means “relieves anxiety and tension”. According to TCM, when the liver is functioning at its optimal level, then it is possible to stay in a good mood.
THE STORY BEHIND AD-C (30 CAPSULES)
Traditional Chinese medicine would consider this a combination to "enhance fire" to regulate and release chi (vitality). According to TCM, when the liver is functioning at its maximum capacity, one can maintain a positive mood. Since the liver helps supply filtered blood to all cells in the body, liver function and health can greatly influence mood. Unwanted blood compounds must be neutralized properly by the liver. AD-C contains herbs that help cleanse and support the liver.
Tigernut dates back to ancient Egypt where it was cooked or served with honey. It is also used in Ayurveda. Bupleurum grows in East Asia where it has been used in TCM for over 2000 years to support detoxification and to move chi. The Asian ginseng root has been famous for centuries as it benefits both mental and physical health. Traditionally, ginseng root was eaten to maximize memory, mood, concentration, and stamina. The platycodon comes from the meadows of China, Korea and Japan. In TCM, we talk about its ability to expel fluid and support respiratory health.
